The Diagnostic Review is appropriate for students at all levels of preparation.

In this 75-minute session, Dave Walker will guide your student through the missed Reading & Writing questions from an official SAT practice test. After the session, you’ll receive a precise written account of where and why points are being lost, an honest assessment of the feasibility of achieving the target score within your student’s timeline, and a concrete roadmap for what it would take to close the gap.

A pre-session review of missed questions

Prior to the meeting, Dave will review your student’s missed questions from the Reading & Writing section of an official SAT practice test.

A written diagnostic within 24 hours

Dave will share key observations and detail where your student’s specific strengths and weaknesses lie.

A preparation roadmap

Prioritized question types, a realistic improvement estimate for the intended test date, and a recommended path with practice-test checkpoints.

03How it works

From booking to a roadmap, in three steps.

    Reserve and complete the intake

    Immediately after purchase, you'll receive access to Dave's scheduling calendar, detailed intake instructions, a few questions about target score and test date, and a form for submitting the list of missed questions.

  2. II.

    Meet with Dave

    During the session, Dave will work through each missed question with your student using the Socratic method that anchors all Walker Prep instruction — surfacing the specific strategic and conceptual gaps behind the misses.

  3. III.

    Receive the diagnostic & roadmap

    Within 24 hours after the session, Dave will send a written diagnostic and preparation roadmap: strengths and weaknesses, target score feasibility, question types to prioritize, and a suggested preparation path.
